Educational and cognitive

Assessments

Educational and cognitive assessments help teachers and parents to understand why a learner is struggling in school. The assessment results inform teachers on how they can develop timely child specific interventions for student success.

If the learner is found to have a specific learning disorder, they may be eligible for extra time and/or other exam-access accommodations. That will place the child at par with peers and minimise the negative impact of the disorder on performance under exam conditions. An Education Assessment Report is required by examination bodies to provide support for application for access arrangements.
